What makes Wichita Falls Baptist unique? We are conservative and traditional, yet fresh and alive. We are concerned about personal holiness. We are burdened about having a real, thriving walk God. We are trying to educate, not entertain, all ages in the ways of God. We are willing to take a stand against sin. We strive for authentic worship centered on God, not man. We desire to help build godly lives, families, friendships, and communities.
 
What are the church office hours? The church office is presently under construction, so the Pastor can be reached through the information available on our contact us page.

 What time are services? There is a morning Worship Service, at 10:45 AM. Sunday School is available for all ages at 9:30 AM. We also have an evening service at 6:00 PM on the 1st and 3rd Sunday night of each month.
 
 How do I get to WFBC? We are located on the corner of 8th Street and Travis in the historic down town. Get detailed directions and a map to help you find us here.

 Where can I park?  We have reserved parking near the main entrance along the road for the disabled, as well as for visitors, and senior citizens. There is also a parking lot directly across from the church’s main entrance.

What is available for infants and toddlers?

We have a well-equipped nursery to care for your infants and toddlers during all services.

What children’s programs are available? During Sunday School, we have classes for children from two years old to 6th grade. Junior and Senior High teens meet as a part of the Wichita Falls Baptist’s youth ministry.
 
What Bible fellowship or Sunday school class is available for adults? Our Adult Bible Fellowship starts at 9:30 AM. Check the Adult Bible Fellowship page for more information.

What happens when I get to WFBC? Our greeters will give you a bulletin and assist you in getting to your class or into the service.
 
What do I do before the service starts? If you arrive before the service starts, you will notice that our auditorium is filled with plenty of comfortable seats. There are no reserved seats, so you may sit anywhere. Many people will be greeting one another during this time.

What are the services like? Services generally last about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Our worship services are a time of joyful worship and praise, with a variety of traditional songs, special music, and a relevant message from God’s Word.
 
How will I know when to stand?  The pastor or the music director will ask the congregation to stand or sit. Generally we stand while singing and sit during public prayer.

What is the pastor’s message like? Pastor Lukus gives Bible-based messages lasting about 45 minutes. His messages are timely and applicable. CDs of the message are available.
 
Do you give public invitations at the end of the service? What are they like?  At the end of his message, Pastor Lukus invites the congregation to respond to the message preached. This is also a time for personal prayer with God over changes we may need to make in our lives. Counseling is also available for spiritual needs.

What happens after the service? People usually mingle and fellowship as they prepare to leave. The pastor usually stands near the exit to welcome you and answer any questions you may have.
