Pastor Luke Love
Luke had the blessing of being born into a pastor's family. This family background gave him the opportunity to hear the gospel early and often in his life. It was at the age of 5 that Luke realized that he was a sinner and needed a Savior. Growing up in a pastor's home also gave Luke the blessing of seeing the ministry up close as his dad pastored churches in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Georgia.
Luke completed a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from Maranatha Baptist Bible College, as well as a Master of Divinity from Calvary Theological Seminary. Over the past few years he has served churchs in Wisconsin, Illinois, and now Texas. This experience has given Luke a passion for expository preaching which should encourage the believer in a greater love for God, and he also has a passion for the church as the body of Christ which illustrates the power of the gospel to the community.
Luke loves reading, occasionally running, following anything related to the Michigan Wolverines, and most of all spending time with his wife, Marsha, and their children, Alyssa and Logan.
Pastor Josh Longoria
Josh was born in Ft. Worth, TX in 1980. He was raised in Mansfield, TX living in the same home until he moved to Abilene, TX his freshman year of college. Josh was born again at the age of thirteen. It was while he was at a summer camp that he heard the truth of God's Word and knew that he was a sinner in need of a Savior.
On April 24, 2000 he joined the United States Marine Corps and spent the next nine years serving as a U.S. Marine. It was at his first duty station, in Yorktown, Virginia, that he met his wife, Faith Longoria.
Josh and Faith were married on February 9, 2002. They have been blessed with five children—Grace, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Isaac, and Josias.
As a young college student Josh helped out with multiple teen events and weekend discipleships, but it was during his time in the Marines that Josh began to have a deep burden for the ministry of the gospel. Through the teaching, preaching, and discipling of his pastor in Yucca Valley, California God began to confirm His call on Josh's life.
Josh has attended Hardin-Simons University as well as Wayland Baptist University. He is currently working on a Master of Arts in Theological Studies at Calvary Theological Seminary. In 2009 Josh was taken on as the Assistant Pastor at Wichita Falls Baptist Church.
Josh enjoys his time with his family, working with wood, golfing, and anything that has to do with church and camp.
