Teens for Truth: What we’re about

TM412 Youth Group exists to bring glory to God through deepening relationships with God and other believers. This is accomplished through strategic discipleship, Christ-centered fellowship, passionate evangelism, and focused preaching. 1Timothy 4:12 says, “Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity…” At Wichita Falls Baptist Church, we desire to build our youth into exemplary believers.

Sunday Studies

Junior High and Senior High teens meet together to study God’s Word. They hear a practical lesson packed with Biblical truth, targeted at their lives. Sunday School is designed to point our youth toward Christ. At WFBC, we are not satisfied with good teens. We desire godly teens. It is our aim to come alongside of parents in the task of shaping God-focused youth. We want to teach and train the church of the next generation.

Teen Time

The Teen Times are gatherings for Christ-centered friendships, God-honoring fellowship, and just plain fun. Teen Time is directed by Pastor Josh, and is hosted by families of the church. It is a great time for all!

Service Activities

We desire to see our youth serve Christ and edify the body. They are encouraged to plug into the church through the use of their gifts.

Here are some ways teens have served at Wichita Falls Baptist Church: outreach and evangelism, teaching aids, music, special youth services, demolition and construction, ushering, greeting, and cleaning the church.

Summer Camp

Every summer we set aside a week to take the youth to Southland Christian Camp. For that entire week our teens are challenged to conform to the image of Christ in full obedience to His Word.

Philippians 3:10 “…That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings being made conformable unto His death.”
